FLAG FOOTBALL

Rules of Play:

• No blocking the quarterback (QB); the QB cannot run

• May rush QB after a spoken 5 count

• Only direct handoffs are permitted

• The ball is dead when it hits the ground or when the offensive player’s flag is pulled from their belt

• 4 downs (new set of downs after 2 complete passes)

• Last play must be snapped before the bell rings

• Touchdown = 7 points

• Safety = 2 points
